National Lottery - 59 numbers to choose from
Absolute joke that 10 more numbers are being added in October. Justification they want to do more for the greater good. Do they f@@k.

The Camelot spin is appalling, saying that the chances of winning a prize goes from 1 in 9 to 1 in 5.

But most prizes will be a free lucky dip for getting two numbers. That's not winning a prize in my book.

45,057,474/1 if you still need 6 numbers.

Good odds in my book.

Didn't Branson have a better model for the National Lottery? More winners with less HUGE prizes?
Camlot's franchise runs out in 2019.

I would rather play a raffle where there are 10-20 x guaranteed £250,000 jackpots.

I don't need £5,000,000 to live comfortably, nor do most people who work.

That's effectively a 20% rise in the tax on stupidity, and what are the opposition doing about it? Trying to outboast the government on who's screwed the piggiest pig, THAT'S what.

Stick £2 on a large football accumulator instead.

More fun.

More chance of winning enough to put a massive dent in the mortgage.

The lottery is bollocks.

Who gives a fuck. Only little old girls and scratchcard wankers do the lotto anyway

The conversion of a bit of spare change into 25 nicker...hardly seems worth it, just basically paying for an extra round of jars at the end of an evening

Eh?? Thought they only just changed it (increasing it to £2-00)... saying that had 3 winners in last 5 weeks so much prefer the pony pay out instead of the old cockle...

Good. I could get a pay rise out of that.

Chances of winning have gone from virtually zero to non existent.

Why change it?
